We have just booked our flights! We leave Monday, June 24th and return Thursday, July 25th! We travel on three flights to get there, with two lengthy layovers: Calgary to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Luanda, and Luanda to Lubango. And the same way back.

In the past Michael has stayed in Lage, a multi-apartment complex for SIM Missionaries and we hope to stay there again when we’re in Lubango. It is not far from the ISTEL Library and across town from the CEML Hospital. It is a modern building with WIFI, running water, electricity, appliances and furniture, as well as the resident cat Spice. We’ll be mainly preparing our own food while there and there are grocery stores nearby.

Bethany K. Hoskin

Bethany is an international artist, illustrator and designer with a focus on creating narrative portraits for the elite music industry. She paints mainly in acrylic with an expressive realist style in genres like portraiture, landscape and still life. She has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California and a Bachelor of Design degree in Visual Communications from the Alberta University of the Arts. Her paintings are in private collections in Canada and the United States.
